this is so true!!! wow!

A group of working adults got together to visit their University lecturer. The Lecturer was happy to see them. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life. The lecturer just smiled and went to the kitchen to get an assortment of cups - some porcelain, some in plastic, some in glass, some plain looking and some looked rather expensive and exquisite. The Lecturer offered his former students the cups to get drinks for themselves. When all the students had a cup in hand with water, the Lecturer spoke: "If you noticed, all the nice looking, expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal that you only want the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. What all you wanted was water, not the cup, but we unconsciously went for the better cups." "Just like in life, if Life is Water, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold/maintain Life, but the quality of Life doesn't change." "If we only concentrate on the cup, we won't have time to enjoy/taste the water in it." "Ability may take you to the top, but it takes character to keep you there."-John Wooden, Basketball Coach.

journal from kducf multiply (what is the right way? what is the truth?)

In the year A.D. 30 many Jews and God-fearing Gentiles who had gathered in Jerusalem for the Jewish feast of Pentecost asked this question after hearing Peter speak to the crowds about Jesus. We also asked ourselves this very same question, as does everyone who thinks more deeply about the sense of life, regardless of whether they are an atheist, a Buddhist or a Catholic.
We have come from a wide range of backgrounds, religious and non-religious, but we have all come to realise that the many different paths available do not lead to one and the same destination. There are so many ways out there to choose from - so many people offering answers; Protestants, Catholics, Jehovah's Witnesses, Adventists, Methodists, Pentecostals, Buddhists, Muslims, atheists, ... The question is:
What is the right way? What is truth?
The answer you often hear is, "Everybody has his own truth", or, "No one can really know it". In our opinion, such statements contradict the fact that there is an objective reality. Either the earth is round or it is flat. It cannot be both. The one reality remains absolute and unchanged regardless of the way you look at it. It is the same with religious questions. When it comes down to it, it is not possible for two opposing and contradictory alternatives to exist simultaneously - one for you and one for me. If the reality is that there is a resurrection after death, then there cannot be reincarnation. You cannot have both eternal life after death and the annihilation of the soul. If matter was created by God it cannot have existed from eternity. Or let us consider some other questions to which contradictory answers cannot both be right: Is Jesus God, or is he not? Does God predestine people to condemnation, or does He give them free will? Can a Christian fall away from God, or is he 'once saved, always saved'? Is man sinful by nature, or is he not? Does hell exist, or does it not?
Questions like these ought to inspire everyone who wants to get to know God's nature to form an opinion. Can we remain indifferent when faced with these questions if we are interested in finding out how to live according to God's will?
To find answers to these questions we do not think that we need a new revelation, or some kind of new special method of interpreting the Bible. Nor do we think that we are the source of the truth - we are very aware of our imperfections and humbly accept our limitations - but we believe that truth is accessible, because Jesus revealed it to mankind.
The majority of people hold the opinion that there is no absolute truth. In our society, the view that the truth is relative is the predominating ideology. Many people have become accustomed to this stream of thought and think that one's idea of truth is relative and has no validity for others: "What seems good to me is what is right for me!" However, if everything has the same validity, then in the end nothing matters. The standard according to which good and bad, right and wrong are measured is completely missing. Everyone can find something to suit his own personal taste and needs. People paint their own picture of heaven, choosing the colours from a palette of their own desires and wishes, creating their own religion, which seems to fit well enough for the time being... In fact, religion is widely treated as yet another branch of the arts, like the world of fashion in which people shape trends and trends, in turn, shape people. However, God's way is different...
How does God want me to use my life?
In God's eyes every person who does not seek the truth is enslaved. But Jesus wants to deliver us from slavery - it's up to us to accept his offer.
So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, {then} you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." (John 8:31-32)
The truth will make us free - this means that we need to see the truth about ourselves, we need to realise and confess our sinfulness, and accept that we need God's forgiveness through Jesus, as Peter said:
Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38)
Then He can give us the power to give up our sins and live a holy life, then He can give us the strength to devote our whole life to serve Him. Jesus wants to redeem us, He wants to set us free from selfish desires and sexual sins, from vanity and envy, from the feeling of inferiority and pride, from arrogance and the urge to win the favour of other people.
Jesus also wants to set us free from all kinds of deceptive teachings which lead people to concentrate on themselves even more in the effort to save themselves. But He also wants to set us free from wrong ideas which people call Christianity, where people devote vast amounts of time and energy to the cause of social justice but neglect the spiritual fight against sin.
Jesus wants to free us from teachings which provide an assurance of God's forgiveness but forget that discipleship is all about following Jesus. He wants to liberate us from doctrines which promise God's grace, but renounce obedience as legalistic. For this reason we seek the truth, searching for God's will in both our lives and teaching.
This search for God's will led us to the question:
What should a Christian community be like?
The community of Christians in Jerusalem that formed after the apostles' preaching is described in Acts 2:
They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer... Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart... (Acts 2:42 and 46)
For Christians in that time it was natural to come together for fellowship and to deal with the teaching every day. Their common life bore witness to their great interest in, and love for God and their brothers and sisters. We, too, have this sincere desire to share our lives with our sisters and brothers in faith, to read the Bible together, and to take part in each other's joys, sorrows and spiritual fights. We are very thankful that we can live in a time when good transport and convenient working hours make daily community possible. For us, daily community is an expression of love and a result of the wish to live out what we believe, to devote our time to God and to our brothers and sisters in faith. We use our time for the things that are important for us.
If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. 1 John 4:21 And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also. (1 John 4:20-21)
This vibrant, committed fellowship is of great value in helping us to strengthen one another in our struggles and practice the principle expressed in the Bible:
But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called "Today," so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. (Hebrews 3:13)
We do not want to build superficial relationships or show a good front to one another and by doing so avoid revealing the reality about ourselves. Instead, we confess our sins and weaknesses to one another in order to help one another in the fight for holiness, following the example of Jesus.
...love one another, even as I have loved you... (John 13:34)
This is the kind of love we want to live - not just on Sundays or at celebrations but every day alike; not only with particular friends but with anyone who wants to live in the truth.

sweet story

A girl asked a guy if he thought she was pretty, he said...no.
She asked him if he would want to be with her forever....and he said no.
She then asked him if she were to leave would he cry, and once again he replied with a no.
She had heard enough.
As she walked away, tears streaming down her face the boy grabbed her arm and said....
You're not pretty you're beautiful.
I dont want to be with you forever. I NEED to be with you forever.
And I wouldnt cry if you walked away...I'd die...

THIS IS BEAUTIFUL ........AND YOU WILL CRY...

Sally jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room. She said: "How is my little boy? Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?" The surgeon said, "I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it." Sally said, "Why do little children get cancer? Doesn't God care any more? Where were you, God, when my son needed you?" The surgeon asked, "Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university." Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good-bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. "Would you like a lock of his hair?" the nurse asked. Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally. The mother said, "It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the university for study. He said it might help somebody else. "I said no at first, but Jimmy said, 'Mom, I won't be using it after I die. Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom." She went on, "My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could." Sally walked out of Children's mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car. The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room. She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She lay down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep. It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Lying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said: "Dear Mom, I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say I LOVE YOU. I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know. Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good-bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed. Well, you know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter. I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him 'Where was He when I needed him?' "God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children. Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool? I have to give God His pen back now. He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm, sure the food will be great. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore. The cancer is all gone. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery! How about that? Signed with Love from: God, Jesus &Me.

my writing about life....

Wow, this is about our life!!! Some of you might ask what is the big deal about our life??? If you ask that you are so wrong! There are a lot of philosophies and issues in our life!!! It is big deal dear people, trust me! Well, of course I’m not going to write about philosophy as I am not a philosopher! Whew, what a relief for you guys! Ha-ha! But (oh no! I know what you guys are thinking! I know a bit of mind reading! Just kidding!) I will write about issues in life that are quite important. Bear with me for this exclusive life journey! You might not agree with me in this walk of life but don’t worry, I won’t force you to accept all my opinions, ways and styles! I know you guys have your own great opinions…use your critical thinking power while reading my book and feel free to disagree or criticize! One concept that I learned is when people criticize you, (duh, of course you feel angry! How dare he/she comment you like that is the line running through your head) what you should do is to try to get over the anger emotion and analyze what he/she said (s what he/she said true? what is it that I should change?), then you decide whether to change yourself. Comment or critics from people are important to let us be aware of how we portray ourselves in people’s eyes and obtain useful advice to let us grow in becoming a better person. Of course there are situations where you don’t have to care about how people think of you! If you are nervous about how people see you, you tend to be acting or fake around them which is not good because you can’t be yourself and you are sure enough let people see that you are not comfortable there! Hmm, how to prevent this from happening is to be confident (how to be confident? Keep in your mind that you are special and useful in your own unique way! Praise God for that! In God eyes, everyone is a grace to Him!), don’t wear too outstanding clothes (my own opinion & experience) and know that everyone is not perfect, dun worry about your flaw too much (of course it will be best if you try to make your strength overshadow your weakness) because everybody has! Just act natural and cool about it! Dun sweat about it! What to write some more? Click, searching for brain neurons…what!!! Error, no brain neurons detected! Impossible! I wouldn’t be living if my brain neurons die, I would either be heaven or hell (hope it is heaven! Arhh, don’t want to crack my head about it and by the way, it is in God hand!) It true, research show it! Go log on internet and check for yourself! Don’t be lazy! I mean myself! Opps, reveal my weakness! Hehe!) The word ‘impossible’, wouldn’t it be great if we turn it to ‘I am possible’! Done research already about the brain neurons? Don’t tell me you don’t know what is internet? If you don’t, you better don’t life in this era… just joking! Don’t go and try to kill yourself because I shan’t be responsible towards your life! Talk about putting responsible upon life, I found out that nowadays people tend to commit suicide when they face problems that I personally feel can be solve with some guidance. Trust me; there is no problem big enough worth to die for! Why modern or civilized act so uncivilized? Like people from thousand ages ago who don’t know how precious is a life. Guidance is needed in this case. Anyone else intend to become a counselor? With the stress of job, money or other kind of pressure mankind are facing, this job promise a good fortune and future! Since when did I recommend people job? A minute ago I guess? One thing is your life is given by God (in Malaysia, there are many religion, so suit yourself!) and you have no right or privilege to take your life like that! I take it as a selfish act for people who commit suicide! It is true that everything end when they die but it is a different stories for their loved one especially their family, relatives and friends. Their loved one has to bare the memory and sadness until the end of their life! I know it is harsh to say but isn’t it is an act of cruel? Well, I left it for you to think and analyze it. Think about it, how many unlucky people in world are suffering from all kind of various diseases struggle to breath for one day, a few hours, 1 hour or even 1 minute! What did they do to deserve it? Some are just small kids! Only God know because He plans everything with hidden meaning (Uh oh, God is secretive aren’t He? Dun worry, the truth will be revealed one day! He is merciful and graceful towards us because He send His only son Jesus to die for us!) If you think your life sucks and you want to end it right now, wake up! Go check around the world and you will find out that there are many needy people in this world that waiting for miracle so that they can live. You will totally swimming in your own tears when you see them. Try being a social worker, you will be give thanks that you are able to live, you will be much happier and definitely cherish or perish the time in your entire life! Helping people give you a sense of fullness and happiness because you are able to help them. I don’t think there are many people willing to become social worker as there are plenty things for us to do in life such as homework assignment, preparing exam if you are student and if you are working, your working day already take up half of your day. With so many things for us to accomplish, we might feel stress if we couldn’t accomplish what we plan to. This is where stress management is important. Many class or books about stress management have been here to reach out for people who need it. If you don’t know how to manage stress, you might end up in mental hospital (I won’t want to visit you because I am scared! Joking!) Maybe for some people shouting or throwing tantrum towards people (that not the way to get out emotion and you just hurt people feelings, I used to be like that as my emotion is unstable) my suggestion is exercising or anything that get the sweat out of your body (this work for me at least), you can also shout it loud at a place where no human beings are detected. Why not talk to your intimate or trustable adult or counselor. One point here, when you are in the middle of heat or fire, quickly runs away because you don’t want people to get fire burn, I mean hurt anybody. You must also blurt what make you angry because if you don’t, one day the volcano will explode (seriously!) you will certainly break down and become insane(oh no) if you don’t know how to mange stress! Actually there is a scientific name for this stress disease (go back home and look for medical dictionary! hehe!)

In this new generation, humankind needs to work or study extra hard to survive! You have to be better than others in order to crab a place in work or study. There are so called stratagems involve especially in workplace. It isn’t just about work but relationship or the bond between people (sigh that the hard part and it is what make people stress! That why there are a lot of books or talks about how to manage human relationships in work) Why oh why it is so hard to deal with human? I guess it is because everyone wants to become successful in life and this make them put on a mask while they are in work place, never use their heart while dealing with people. Another thing is each one of us has different personality as we are brought up by different way, culture, value and religion. (Well, that what make the world “colorful”, isn’t it?)

I remember one Chinese quote that say it is good that we can speak human language when we deal with human and speak ghost language while we deal with ghost; but it is best if we speak ghost language while dealing with human beings yet they still can understand what we say and speak human language while dealing with ghost yet they still can understand us! This for sure isn’t easy to be done! Practice make perfect! Sounds familiar? It true! Anything that we do, preparation and practice make us more confident as we know well what to do because we already get use to it! I hope I will remain silent to my words!! Ha-ha! Because alot of time i didn follow my own words!

Oh yea, you guys heard the phrase an eye for an eye and an apple for an apple? Do you guys agree with it? I will not force you guys to view the same as I do but I am just merely giving my point. Of course you repay a kindness with kindness. When it comes to evil it is a different thing, normally people will take revenge. Bible (seriously, it is not as boring as you think, trust me!) did say that an eye for an eye but it doesn’t need to be done like that! Why can’t we overcome evil with good and leave all the injustice in God’s hands? I know you might think that it is stupid to do that but one thing is hating a people will not make you any good but only fill your heart with hatred. Furthermore, you will feel angry, unhappy, sad and more negative emotion. This is bad because why you want to punish yourself with other people sin? You are putting the burden onto your shoulder, doesn’t u think so? I know that it hurt a lot to bear when people done evil on you but you have to understand that human aren’t perfect and they are living in darkness! What you can do is show them love and bear with them, it not easy to do and a lot of patience is needed. Don’t you feel lighter once you forgive those evil things that people do to you? The joy and happiness just back to you like that (whoosh, magic!) Talk about overcoming evil things, temptations and problems, you will have to overcome it everyday! It is just whether small problems or major breakdown in your life. Believe me; I deal with it almost everyday! One thing is you don’t feel shy to admit your weakness and that you will need guide from the right source (right source is very important because they will give you right advice, I get this words from one of my friend and don’t you think it is true?)

The right influence is important because as a human, we are easy to being influence by our surrounding. How to get right influence? I personally think that it is done by joining extra-curriculums in school, good affiliation, sports and of course religion places (these places will give peace to your soul and every religion promotes good values in life!) One thing about religion is if we are saved (I am using Christianity sample, I apologized if I have offend anybody), it is right that we should hate sin but we shouldn’t hate sinner but we should love them and support them! This is so true; judge yourself before you judge others! I admit that we always judge people especially by the first impression. We are always stereotyping people without any reason. I have to be frank that I may judge people unconsciously and I am changing myself. You know why we shouldn’t do that? This is because everyone is special or different and you might never know what you can learn from the people you judge! Think about the feelings when you are being judge, if you hate being judge then why should you judge? Do you feel happy if other people sad? Of course it is clear that we can humbly confront the people when we know that they are doing sin. It is our responsibility to carefully tell people especially when we know they are committing sin. There is a saying which is a gem cannot be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without adversity. There are a lot of hardship to go through before you truly grow up as a human (no one is perfect, I am being honest!). We are growing especially spiritually everyday through the things we gone through. There are a lot of these love thingy people like to know about, I have come across this saying by a writer. If you like a person but he/she doesn’t like you back, then he/she isn’t worthwhile for you to wait (I have this experience before, it is hard to forget but time will wash everything and let the feeling over by making yourself focusing on other things like studies, sports and others) Find a person who know how to appreciate, accept, love, care for you and endure you! In quest for searching love, you don’t have to lower your value or compromise your belief (this is a debate by many people because some believe that they should change themselves to get love and some believe they shouldn’t, what you guys think?) don’t waste your time waiting for a person who doesn’t worth it, go on with your life and search for people who will understand you and remain your friends no matter up or downs. God is a suitable person for this friend that we need, He will be beside you until the very last breath of yours and He is forever faithful!

All bout U,God!

"Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile." -Albert Einstein

There is no Gain in the world: so be it: but neither is there any Loss. There is never any failure to this infinite freshness of life, and the ancient novelty is forever renewed. We realize the world better if we imagine it, not as a Progress to Prim Perfection, but as the sustained upleaping of a Fountain, the pillar of a Glorious Flame. For, after all, we cannot go beyond the ancient image of Heraclitus, the "Ever-living Flame, kindled in due measure and in the like measure extinguished." That translucent and mysterious Flame shines undyingly before our eyes, never for two moments the same, and always miraculously incalculable, an ever-flowing stream of fire. The world is moving, men tell us, to this, to that, to the other. Do not believe them! Men have never known what the world is moving to. Who foresaw--to say nothing of older and vaster events--the Crucifixion? What Greek or Roman in his most fantastic moments prefigured our thirteenth century? What Christian foresaw the Renaissance? Who ever really expected the French Revolution? We cannot be too bold, for we are ever at the incipient point of some new manifestation far more overwhelming than all our dreams. No one can foresee the next aspect of the Fountain of Life. And all the time the Pillar of that Flame is burning at exactly the same height it has always been burning at! The World is everlasting Novelty, everlasting Monotony. It is just which aspect you prefer. You will always be right.
-Havelock Ellis, Impressions and Comments, November 13, 1913

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

"If life were just, we would be born old and achieve youth about the time we'd saved enough to enjoy it." -Jim Fiebig

"Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself." -Harvey Fierstein

The gains in life come slowly and the losses come on suddenly. You work for years to get your life the way you want it and buy the big house and the time share on Antigua and one afternoon you’re run down by a garbage truck and lie in the intersection, dazed, bloodied, your leg unnaturally bent, and suddenly life becomes terribly challenging for six months.

Dance like there's nobody watching Love like you'll never get hurtSing like there's nobody listeningLive like it's heaven on earthAnd speak from the heart to be heard. Purkey is the source of this quotation that is attributed to many others: it was made popular in the song "Come From The Heart" written by Susannah Clark and Richard Leigh. Purkey closed his speeches with this poem and it has now made it into the public domain.

If I'd gotten the job I wanted at Montgomery Ward, I suppose I would never have left Illinois. I've often wondered at how lives are shaped by what seem like small and inconsequential events, how an apparently random turn in the road can lead you a long way from where you intended to go--and a long way from wherever you expected to go. For me, the first of these turns occurred in the summer of 1932, in the abyss of the Depression.

"... I was reminded of a remark of Willa Cather's, that you can't paint sunlight, you can only paint what it does with shadows on a wall. If you examine a life, as Socrates has been so tediously advising us to do for so many centuries, do you really examine a life, or do you examine the shadows it casts on other lives? Entity or relationships? Objective reality or the vanishing point of a multiple perspective exercise? Prism or the rainbows it refracts? And what if you're the wall? What if you never cast a shadow or rainbow of your own, but have only caught those cast by others?" -Wallace Stegner, The Spectator Bird, 1976

For some life lasts a short while, but the memories it holds last forever. -Laura Swenson

"May you live every day of your life." -Jonathan Swift

Still we live meanly, like ants; though the fable tells us that we were long ago changed into men; like pygmies we fight with cranes; it is error upon error, and clout upon clout, and our best virtue has for its occasion a superfluous and evitable wretchedness. Our life is frittered away by detail. An honest man has hardly need to count more than his ten fingers, or in extreme cases he may add his ten toes, and lump the rest. Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity! I say, let your affairs be as two or three, and not a hundred or a thousand; instead of a million count half a dozen, and keep your accounts on your thumb-nail. In the midst of this chopping sea of civilized life, such are the clouds and storms and quicksands and thousand-and-one items to be allowed for, that a man has to live, if he would not founder and go to the bottom and not make his port at all, by dead reckoning, and he must be a great calculator indeed who succeeds. Simplify, simplify. Instead of three meals a day, if it be necessary eat but one; instead of a hundred dishes, five; and reduce other things in proportion.

Dr. Miller says we are pessimistic because life seems like a very bad, very screwed-up film. If you ask "What the hell is wrong with the projector?" and go up to the control room, you find it's empty. You are the projectionist, and you should have been up there all the time.

It gets to be part of your everyday routine. I expect to be there on Sunday. I expect to be there at practice. I think back to when I first started school in the first grade and how long it seemed to take to go from first through 12th. You figure in ninth grade you're never going to get out of high school, and you couldn't wait. Here I am in my 14th year and going on 13 for not missing basically a day of school… Part of it is being able to escape injury, overcome some injuries but also be able to play at a high enough level for so long to still be here doing it. The streak itself doesn't stand out to me that it's something I have to continue. As long as I'm a Green Bay Packer, I expect to play. I expect to help this team win and be a tremendous leader. i am so blessed

If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more blessed than themillion who won't survive the week.

If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture orthe pangs of starvation, you are ahead of 20 million peoplearound the world.

If you have food in your refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overyour head and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank,in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace, you are amongthe top 8% of the world's wealthy.

If your parents are still married and alive, you are very rare, especially in the United States.
If you hold up your head with a smileon your face and are truly thankful, you are blessed because the majority can,but most do not.

If you can hold someone's hand, hug themor even touch them on the shoulder, you are blessed because you canoffer God's healing touch.

If you can read this message, you are more blessed than overtwo billion people in the worldthat cannot read anything at all.

You are so blessed in waysyou may never even know.

If you are feeling blessed, replay the blessings bestowed unto you and do something for others.
A blessing cannot be kept. If it stops with you, then the blessing will disappear. The blessing will only keep working if it is continuously passed around. If you are a recipient of a blessing, keep the blessing working by being the source of blessing to other people.

Read Each One Carefully and Think About It a Second or Two
I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you..

No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry.

Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.

To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.

Don't waste your time on a man/woman, who isn't willing to waste their time on you.

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.

Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.

There's always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting and just be more careful about who you trust next time around.

Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try and know someone else and expect them to know you.

Don't try so hard, the best things come when you! least expect them to.

REMEMBER: WHATEVER HAPPENS, HAPPENS FOR A REASON.

"I Would not Quit" He Said

One day I decided to quit...
I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality...
I wanted to quit my life.
I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.
"God", I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"

His answer surprised me...

"Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"
"Yes", I replied.
"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them.
I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth.
Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed.
But I did not quit on the bamboo.

In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. He said.
"In the third year, there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit.
In the fourth year, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. "I would not quit." He said.
"Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.

Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant...
But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.
It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.

I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."
He said to me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots"
"I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you."
"Don't compare yourself to others." He said. "The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern. Yet, they both make the forest beautiful."

"Your time will come", God said to me. "You will rise high!"
"How high should I rise?" I asked.
"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.
"As high as it can?" I questioned.
"Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."
I left the forest and bring back this story.

read this...

1. Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
a. free ur heart from hatred
b. free ur minds from worries
c. live simply
d give more
e. expect less
2. Its better to lose ur pride to the 1 u love, than to lose the one u love becuz of pride. We spend too much time looking for the right person to love or finding fault with those we already love, when instead we should be perfecting the love we give.
3. The measure of love is when u love without measure. In life there are very rare chances that ull meet the person you love and loves u in return. So once you have it dont ever let it go, the chance might never come ur way again.
4. When sumthing happens ti you, good or bad, consider what it means. Theres a purpose to lifes events, to teach you how to laugh more or not to cry to hard. Ypu cant make some1 love you, all you can do is be some1 who can be loved, the rest is up to the person to realize ur worth.
5. When u truly care for some1, u dont look for faults, u dont look for answers, u dont look for mistakes. Instead, u fight the mistakes, u accept the faults, and u overlook the excuses. Never abandon an old friend. U will never find one who can take his place. Friendship is like wine, it gets better as it grows older.
6. Disappointments are like road humps, they slow u down a bit but u enjoy the smooth road afterwards. Dont stay on the humps too long. Move on! When u feel down when u didnt get what u want, just sit tight and be happy, becuz God is thinking sumthing better to7. No one can go back and make a brand new start. Any1 can start from now and make a brand new ending. God didnt promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

NEVER underestimate my Jesus

Relient KFOR MOMENTS I FEEL FAINTMy of a point of no improvement
What are the death I still dwell in?I try to excel but I feel no movement
Can I be free of this unreleasable sense
Chorus:-Never underestimate my Jesus
U're telling me that there's no hope
Im telling u u're wrong
NEver underestimate my Jesus
When the world around you crumble
you will be strong you will be strong
I throw up my hands, of all imposibilities
Frustrated and tired where do I go from here? Now Im such a flaw, the coward that I lost so willingly
Overcoming these obstacles , is overcoming my fear
"What have I got to lose to share about the overflowing love of God? Gold and silver I have none, God's piece of love I have I share with u

You are not an accident

You are not an accident"God doesn't play dice"-Albert Einstein-
You are who you are for a reason. You're part of an intricate plan.
You're precious and perfect unique design,Called God's special men or women.
You look like you look for a reasonOur God made no mistake.
He knit you together within the womb,You're just what he wantd to make.
The parents you had were the ones he chose, And no matter how you may feel,They were custom-designed with God's plan in mind,And they bear the master's seal
Noe that trauma you face was not easy. And God wept that it hurt you so;BUt it was allowed to shape your heart. So that into his likeness you will grow.
You are who you are for a reason,You've been formed by the Master's rod.You are who you are, beloved,Because there is a God!

love doesnt need a reason

Lady : Why do you like me..? Why do you love me? Man : I can't tell the reason.. but I really like you.. Lady : You can't even tell me the reason... how can you say you like me?How can you say you love me? Man : I really don't know the reason, but I can prove that I love you. Lady : Proof? No! I want you to tell me the reason. My friend'sboyfriend can tell her why he loves her but not you! Man : Ok..ok!!! Erm... because you are beautiful, because your voice is sweet, because you are caring, because you are loving, because you are thoughtful, because of your smile, because of your every movements. The lady felt very satisfied with the man's answer. Unfortunately, a fewdays later, the Lady met with an accident and became comma. The Guy thenplaced a letter by her side, and here is the content:Darling,Because of your sweet voice that I love you...Now can you talk? No! Therefore I cannot love you.Because of your care and concern that I like you..Now that you cannot show them, therefore I cannot love you.Because of your smile, because of your every movements that I love you..Now can you smile? Now can you move? No, therefore I cannot love you...If love needs a reason, like now, there is no reason for me to love youanymore.Do love need a reason? NO!Therefore, I still love you... And love doesn't need a reason " Sometimes the best and the most beautiful things in the worldcannot be seen, cannot be touched, but can be felt in the heart "x

Growing older VS growing UP!

Message:
>ROSE>
The first day of class our professor introduced himself and challenged us, to get to know someone we didn't already know. I stood up to look around when a gentle hand touched my shoulder. I turned around to find a wrinkled, little old lady beaming up at me with a smile that lit up her entire being. She said, "Hi handsome. My name is Rose. I'm eighty-seven years old. Can I give you a hug"? I laughed and enthusiastically responded, "Of course.you may"! And she gave me a giant squeeze. "Why are you in college at such a young, innocent age"? I asked. She jokingly replied, "I'm here to meet a rich husband, get married, have a couple of children, and then retire and travel". "No seriously", I asked. I was curious what may have motivated her to be taking on this challenge at her age."I always dreamed of having a college education and now I'm getting one"! she told me. After class we walked to the student union building and shared a chocolate milkshake. We became instant friends. Everyday for the next three months we would leave class together and talk nonstop. I was always mesmerized listening to this "time machine" as she shared her wisdom and experience with me. Over the course of the year, Rose became a campus icon and she easily>made friends wherever she went. She loved to dress up and she reveled in the attention bestowed upon her from the other students. She was living it up. At the end of the semester we invited Rose to speak at our football banquet. I'll never forget what she taught us. She was introduced and stepped up to the podium. As she began to deliver her prepared speech, she dropped all of her 3 x 5 note cards. Frustrated and a little embarrassed, she leaned into the microphone and simply said, "I'm sorry I'm so jittery. I gave up beer for Lent and this whiskey is killing me! I'll never get my speech back in order, so let me just tell you what I know". As we laughed she cleared her throat and began, "We do not stop playing because we are old; we grow old because we stop playing. There are only four secrets to staying young, being happy, and achieving success. You have to laugh and find humor everyday. You've got to have a dream. When you lose your dreams, you die. We have so many people walking around who are dead and don't even know it! There is a huge difference between growing older and growing up. If you are nineteen years old and lie in bed for one full year and don't do one productive thing, you will turn twenty years old. If I am eighty-seven years old and stay in bed for a year and never do anything I will turn eighty-eight. Anybody can grow older. That doesn't take any talent or ability. The idea is to grow up by always finding the opportunity in change. Have no regrets. The elderly rarely have regrets for the things we did, but rather for things we did not do. The only people who fear death are those with regrets. She concluded her speech by courageously singing "The Rose". She challenged each of us to study the lyrics. At the year's end Rose finished the college degree she had begun all those years ago. One week after graduation, Rose died peacefully in her sleep. Over two thousand college students attended her funeral in tribute to the wonderful woman who taught by example that it's never too late to be all you can possibly be. When you finish reading this, please send this peaceful word of advice to your friends and family, they'll really enjoy it! These words have been passed along in loving memory of ROSE. REMEMBER, GROWING OLDER IS MANDATORY, GROWING UP IS OPTIONAL. Tonight, before you go to bed, give your problems to God. He will be up. He is always up for us, ALL.

All she knew was that he wasvery sick and they were completely out of money. They were moving to an apartment complex nextmonth because Daddy didn't have enough moneyfor the doctor bills and the house payments. Onlya very costly surgery could save him now and itwas looking like there was no-one to loan them themoney. She heard Daddy say to her tearful Mother withwhispered desperation, "Only a miracle can savehim now."Tess went to her bedroom and pulled a glass jellyjar from its hiding place in the closet. She pouredall the change out on the floor and counted itcarefully. Three times, even. The total had to beexactly perfect. No chance here for mistakes.Carefully placing the coins back in the jar andtwisting on the cap, she slipped out the back doorand made her way 6 blocks to Rexall's Drug Storewith the big Indian Chief sign above the door. She waited patiently for the pharmacist to give hersome attention but he was too busy at thismoment. Tess twisted her feet to make a scuffingnoise. Nothing. She cleared her throat with themost disgusting sound she could muster. Nogood. Finally she took a quarter from her jar andbanged it on the glass counter. That did it!"And what do you want?" the pharmacist asked inan annoyed tone of voice. "I'm talking to mybrother from Chicago whom I haven't seen inages," he said without waiting for a reply to hisquestion."Well, I want to talk to you about MY brother,"Tess answered back in the same annoyedtone. "He's really, really sick... and I want to buy amiracle.""I beg your pardon?" said the pharmacist."His name is Andrew and he has something badgrowing inside his head and my Daddy says only amiracle can save him now. So how much does amiracle cost?""We don't sell miracles here, little girl. I'msorry butI can't help you," the pharmacist said, softening alittle."Listen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isn'tenough, I will get the rest. Just tell me how much itcosts."The pharmacist's brother was a well-dressed man.He stooped down and asked the little girl, "Whatkind of a miracle does you brother need?""I don't know," Tess replied with her eyes wellingup. "I just know he's really sick and Mommy sayshe needs an operation. But my Daddy can't pay forit, so I want to use my money.""How much do you have?" asked the man fromChicago."One dollar and eleven cents," Tess answeredbarely audibly. "And it's all the money I have, but Ican get some more if I need to.""Well, what a coincidence," smiled the man. "Adollar and eleven cents-the exact price of a miraclefor little brothers." He took her money in one handand with the other hand he grasped her mitten andsaid, "Take me to where you live. I want to seeyour brother and meet your parents. Let's see if Ihave the kind of miracle you need."That well-dressed man was Dr. Carlton Armstrong,a surgeon, specializing in neurosurgery. Theoperation was completed without charge and itwasn't long until Andrew was home again anddoing well. Mom and Dad were happily talkingabout the chain of events that had led them to thisplace."That surgery," her Mom whispered, "was a realmiracle. I wonder how much it would have cost?"Tess smiled. She knew exactly how much amiracle cost ... one dollar and eleven cents ... plusthe faith of a little child.A miracle is NOT the suspension of natural law,but the operation of a HIGHER law .

read it

>I dreamt that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked Side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels.
My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, "This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received." I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world. Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section.
The angel then said to me, "This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them." I noticed again how busy it was there. There were many angels working hard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for delivery to Earth.
Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the door of a very small station. To my great surprise, only one angel was seated there, idly doing nothing. "This is the Acknowledgment Section," my angel friend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed. "How is it that? There's no work going on here?" I asked. "So sad," the angel sighed. "After people receive the blessings that they asked for, very few send back acknowledgments."How does one acknowledge God's blessings?" I asked. "Simple," the angel answered. "Just say, "Thank you, Lord" "What blessings should they acknowledge?" I asked."If you have food in the refriger ator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep .. you are richer than 75% of this world."If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy."And if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% in the world who has that opportunity. Also, If you woke up this morning with more health than illness ....you are more blessed than the many who will not even survive this day."If you have never experienced the fear in battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation ... you are ahead of 700 million people in the world."If you can attend a church meeting without the fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death .. you are envied by, and more blessed than, three billion people in the world." "If your parents are still alive and still married .. you are very rare."If you can hold your head up and smile, you are not the norm, you are unique to all those in doubt and despair."

Meaningful story...read it!

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation. Every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window. The man in the other bed began to live for those one-hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside. The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance. As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene. One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by. Although the other man couldn't hear the band - he could see it. In his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words. Days and weeks passed. One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away. As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone. Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed.. It faced a blank wall. The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window. The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall. She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you." Epilogue: "There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations" "Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled" "If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't buy" "Today is a gift, that's why it is called the present."

advice....dun turn turn ar!read!lolx

Promise yourself to be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.

To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.

To make all your friends feel like there is something in them.

To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.

To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and expect only the best.

To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.

To forget the mistakes of the past and press on the greater achievements of the future.

To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living person you meet a smile.

To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, and too strong for fear, and to happy to permit the presence of trouble.
